01 — differences

Key differences

Free core, not per‑website billing

Enhance bills per website (from $0.15/site) with a $10/mo minimum even on one site. BeAdmin keeps a free core and charges only for the modules you switch on, from $1/mo — and there is no monthly floor.

Debian and Ubuntu, not Ubuntu only

Enhance officially supports Ubuntu 24.04 only. BeAdmin runs on Debian and Ubuntu, so you can use the image your VPS already ships with.

Five VPN protocols, zero add‑ons

Xray, WireGuard, OpenVPN, Outline and Amnezia are modules in the same UI. Enhance ships no VPN at all.

Fits a small single VPS

BeAdmin starts at 512 MB on one server. Enhance asks for 2 GB and 2 CPU per node as a clustered platform, so it is not built for a nano‑VPS.

03 — why beadmin

Why pick BeAdmin over Enhance

NO MONTHLY FLOOR

A free core instead of a $10 floor

Enhance bills per website from $0.15/site, but a $10/mo minimum applies even to a single site. BeAdmin keeps the core free and charges only for the modules you switch on, from $1/mo. For one small VPS there is nothing to pay.

WIDER OS CHOICE

Runs on Debian as well as Ubuntu

Enhance officially supports Ubuntu 24.04 only. BeAdmin runs on Debian and Ubuntu, so you can keep the image your VPS already ships with — no reinstall to a specific release before you start.

VPN INCLUDED

Privacy stack out of the box

Xray, WireGuard, OpenVPN, Outline, Amnezia — turn any of them on with a single click. Enhance has no VPN at all; you would build and maintain that part yourself outside the panel.

LIGHTER FOOTPRINT

Fits a single small VPS

BeAdmin runs on 512 MB on one server. Enhance is a clustered platform that asks for 2 GB and 2 CPU per node, so the cheap box that comfortably hosts BeAdmin is below its baseline.

04 — pros & cons

What each panel does well — and where each gives ground

Enhance is the more mature multi‑server platform; BeAdmin is lighter and free at the core. Synthesised from public docs and our own usage — your mileage may vary.

BeAdmin

Strengths

  • Free core plus modules from $1/mo — no per‑website fee or floor
  • Runs comfortably on 512 MB on a single VPS
  • Native on Debian and Ubuntu
  • Five built‑in VPN protocols (Xray, WireGuard, OpenVPN, Outline, Amnezia)
  • Transparent, à‑la‑carte module pricing
  • Modern UI with first‑class dark mode

Trade‑offs

  • Multi‑server is younger than Enhance’s native cluster
  • No native per‑website container isolation
  • PostgreSQL not yet a managed module
  • No reseller / sub‑reseller hierarchy
  • No native cPanel / Plesk importer

Enhance

Strengths

  • Born multi‑server — a mature control plane plus role‑based nodes
  • No per‑server licences; add nodes under one cluster licence
  • Native per‑website isolation with hard resource limits
  • Reseller and sub‑reseller hierarchy out of the box
  • Native cPanel / Plesk migrator, WHMCS integration
  • Modern UI, PostgreSQL, LiteSpeed / OpenLiteSpeed

Trade‑offs

  • No built‑in VPN
  • $10/mo minimum even for a single site
  • Heavier — 2 GB and 2 CPU per node
  • Ubuntu 24.04 only — no Debian
  • No forever‑free tier
  • Not built for a nano‑VPS

07 — migration

Migrating from Enhance

Both run on Ubuntu, so the OS need not change. Enhance is a clustered, container‑based platform, so the move is mostly manual today.

01

Install BeAdmin on a Debian or Ubuntu server

One apt command brings up the free BeAdmin core. Since Enhance also runs on Ubuntu, you can keep the OS and stand BeAdmin up alongside it, switching over only when ready.

02

Move sites, databases, and mail

Transfer sites, databases (MySQL) and mailboxes manually or with your own scripts. BeAdmin has no native importer for an Enhance cluster, and its container layout makes a direct config copy non‑trivial — that is an honest gap.

03

Switch DNS, watch the traffic

Flip DNS when you are comfortable. If anything looks off, revert DNS to the old server — the rollback is just one record change.

08 — questions

Frequently asked questions

They serve different jobs. Enhance is a clustered platform for hosting businesses, billed per website with a $10/mo floor. BeAdmin keeps a free core with modules from 1 €/mo, no floor, plus a built‑in VPN and a 512 MB footprint. If you run one small VPS, BeAdmin is cheaper and lighter; if you run a large multi‑node cluster, Enhance’s per‑website model has real strengths.

Yes. BeAdmin starts at 512 MB on a single server, because modules are opt‑in and a disabled module uses no RAM. Enhance asks for 2 GB and 2 CPU per node as a clustered platform, so the same small box is below its baseline.

BeAdmin manages multiple servers from one UI, but not at the level of Enhance’s native control‑plane cluster with role‑based nodes and per‑website container isolation. If a born‑multi‑server architecture is central to your business, that is a genuine Enhance strength.

No. Enhance ships no VPN. In BeAdmin the VPN family (Xray, WireGuard, OpenVPN, Outline, Amnezia) is a one‑click module in the same panel.

Not automatically. BeAdmin has no native importer for Enhance, so sites, databases (MySQL) and mail move over manually or with your own scripts — PostgreSQL has to wait for our managed module. We would rather say that plainly than promise compatibility we do not have.

Start managing infrastructure the way you actually want to

The panel core is free. Pay only for the modules you connect.
